So we’ve been just as busy in 2013 as we were in 2012, and unfortunately, the Annual has taken another hiatus this year. We hope to have one next year, but in the meantime, you can probably cobble together a semblance of a bulletin simply by watching our Facebook updates. Ah, technology.
Have a wonderful and happy 2014, everyone!
Hello, travelers from our annual xmas card!
Normally we post our annual family newsletter on this site. This year, though, between college tours (for Courtney), ballet lessons (for Laura) and two jobs (Ruth and Marc), somehow it got away from us.
Many apologies, family and friends, but we’ll strive to update more through the year and write an Annual next year.
Happy New Year, and we hope everyone is healthy and happy for 2012!
Finally got the pictures uploaded to Flickr for this year’s Annual, and posted the slideshow to the document itself. You can click on the “Expand” icon to get a full-screen slideshow, or click around and jump to our Flickrstream, if you like.
Enjoy this year’s Annual! Thanks for stopping by!
Just finished uploading and editing the Cannava Annual for 2010 — the page is now updated!
Still have to get the Flickr album uploaded and sorted, and when that’s up, we’ll update the page (and post here).
To those who have stumbled on to this early and already sent really nice feedback? I’m amazed. And thank you! 🙂
Don’t change your domain name after you’ve started uploading a lot of pictures and content. Your links will suddenly be broken, as they refer to the old domain.
Fortunately, WP is pretty forgiving if you go in, delete the broken images, and re-insert them from the gallery.
Helpful safety tip: Get your domain locked down, then apply your content. 🙂
This is the bowl of candy we had ready for our Halloween visitors this year:
Of course, we didn’t get many visitors, and the candy? Well… we wound up eating more of it than we’d planned. 🙂 At least we didn’t buy as much as we wanted to…
We’re going to try to keep this updated throughout the year with information, adding to the Annuals in a more dynamic way. We’re still getting settled in to the new domain, and trying to use the mobile client for WordPress (which, theoretically, will allow us to post from anywhere, throughout the year!).
Below is a picture of the entryway sign to RIT’s (Rochester Institute of Technology) new “Global Village”. Marc traveled here a few times this year for work:
The Global Village is coming along nicely and should be done very soon. Marc will most likely continue to visit through 2011 as his academic engagements continue.
Still getting content loaded, and tweaking themes, and so forth.
Welcome! Don’t go away!
This is our new site, hosting Cannava.com!
In an attempt to keep content up-to-date, we’re moving to WordPress, rather than maintaining a bunch of HTML pages by hand. Let’s see if we can keep this going.
More content will be added (and migrated from the old Cannava.com) soon!
